MBB Convention Purpose
- To continue, in every convention participant, the development of a clear spiritual understanding of the inter-relationship between Christian faith and the true freedom that Jesus Christ implants within his followers
- To provide a forum for interaction and to increase knowledge and understanding between Muslim Background Believers (MBBs), Christian Background Believers (CBBs), and Jewish Background Believers (JBBs)
- To promote a model of Christ-centered community that transcends cultural diversity
- To bridge cultural differences – in particular, in forms of worship and prayer
- To educate and encourage all convention participants through the personal stories and testimonies of MBBs and those who minister among MBBs
- To develop Christ-centered approaches for reaching out to Muslims
- To identify the most pressing needs of MBB communities– especially in leadership development, pastoral and missionary training, and church planting
- To connect convention participants to ministry opportunities in the Muslim world
- To facilitate special networking opportunities between MBBs and North American Muslims
